'D' Certification Course:

The 'D' Certification course occurring in River Falls on Jan 23-25 and Jan 30-Feb 1 is in need of more sign-ups. Please help promote this event or sign up at http://ssl.hammerhead.net/wisconsin/CoachingCoursesDisplay.asp?ID=214. All coaches in the River Falls and nearby soccer programs that currently hold an 'E' license (or can qualify through experience) should be taking this course in order to follow the state recommended guidelines for Coaching U13 and up age groups. River Falls affiliated coaches will be fully reimbursed upon passing of the course.

There are only 5 or so of these courses that occur in the entire state. Please sign up prior to Jan. 5, 2009, for this is the date the course will be cancelled by the state if the minimum participant requirements are not met.

Prior Notice: 'D' Certification Course: All the coaches that have 'E' Certifications, or will have by this course date, will be qualified to take the 'D' Certification course that has been scheduled in River Falls for your convenience. It will be held at the Meyer Middle School Gym on the weekends of January 23rd and 30th , 2009. Fridays 6-9 pm, Saturdays 9 am - 6 pm, Sundays 12 (noon) - 6 pm. All those who intend on Coaching U13 and up players should be attending this course. This is an opportunity to continue your education in soccer and be knowledgeable of coaching for the upper age groups. We will be asking this falls U14 and up coaches to provide players for demonstration purposes most of the time. But you will still need to be in shape for this event, participation is required.
